The Great Blackberry Playbook Sale
Following the disappointing sales of "The worlds first professional tablet" RIM has launched sales all over the world selling the tablets at a hugely discounted rate. The sales hit India a few weeks ago and will continue "till stocks last". The Playbook is a pretty decent tablet for the low discounted starting price of Rs.13900 for the 16GB model. For that you get a 7 inch tablet packing a dual core 1GHz processor and 1GB RAM (for comparison the iPad 2 has a similarly clocked processor but only 512MB of RAM). You also get a 5 MP rear facing camera and a 3 MP front facing camera for self portraits.
With the widespread popularity of Blackberries in India the Playbook offer a great way to super size the information on your phone. By pairing the two using Blackberry's Bridge software the Playbook pulls all the information from your phone and displays it on the larger display.
At Rs. 13900 it is the best tablet you can buy in that price range with all the functionality it offers over cheaper entry level tablets.. For those of you who have Blackberries or want an introduction to the tablet world without spending too much money I recommended looking into the Playbook.
